Show IJOHNWDIES I WIT SUDDENLY i Mr. John Blnns, prominent sheep man nnd farmer or this city, died Mon-day Mon-day afternoon after nn attack ot apoplexy. Ho was working In th'o grain field with his brother, Thomas, at Hlghtuid. Thoy had hauled In two loadH of grain before dinner nnd after eating n hearty meal had Just como In with' the third. As thoy went to alight from the load, Mr. Dlnns fell on to tho ground nnd In a very 3hort time had passed nwny Into tho great beyond. He wan a highly rcpoctcd cltlzon nnd web tho father of n largo family. He ws tho son of Isaac Blnns, Sr., who dlod some two years ago. Since tho death of tho father threo of the sons have been called home. Hnd John ninns lived until tho lBth of next mon. th ho would have boon 49 years of ago, having been born and reared In this city. Ho wns tho father or eight children seven of whom, with his widow, sur. vivo him. Thoy are Fae, Edna, Nllcs, Konoth, Wayne, Dnlo and Irene, i Ho Is also survived by threo sisters and two brtohors, Mrs. Kate 8agors, Jano Hardmnn and Isaac, Jr., of this city, Thomas Dlnna of Highland and Miss Nellie Blnns of San Francisco, California. Tho funeral sorvlces were held Thursday nt 2 p. m. In tho Second ward chapel with Bishop Jew. H. Storm In charge. Prayer was offered by Patriarch ! Henry Moylo qt Alplno. Tho mimic was furnlshod'by Elva Chlpman and otheri. The Hpcakera wero Jamqi T. Gardner. W. H. Chlpman and W. S. Chlpman. The norviccs were closed by Jos. E. Welch'. The esteem In which the deceased was held was portrayed por-trayed by tho host of beautiful flowers flow-ers nnd tho crowd that attended tho sorvlces. Intormcnt was held In th'o city cemetery with Jhrlstlnn M. Hanson offering the dedicatory prayer. |
