Hardman, wife or Mr. Edward Hardman, wcro held in tho PIcaBant Grovo Tabemaclo Thursday aUcrnoon at ono o'clock. Tho house was filled with sympathizing friends. Dlshop S. L. Swenson presided. Tho other speakers wero Alexander Bullock, C. P. Wamlck, R. D. Wadley, Dlshop E. L). Olpln and W. L. Hayes. "Lead Kindly Light" was sung by Mrs. L. A. Richardson nnd Mr. B. J. Mork conducted the singing by tho choir. Joseph Larson gave tho Invocation and Joseph Coulam tho benediction. Mrs. Hardman was a daughter or Mr. and Mrs. James Adamson and was born in Pleasant Grovo July 12, 1808. 'She. was married to Edwnrd Hardman January 23, 1907, She leaves a llttlo boy aged seven and a girl aged three. She was secretary or the Second Ward Relief Society 1910-11, n teacher In tho Primary association until recently, and a teacher in tho Roller Society at the tlmo of her death. She died at tho Provo Genoral hospital hos-pital last Tuesday evening following an operation for goltro In tho forenoon. fore-noon. Tho death wob n great surprise sur-prise to her rrlauds, as she had been enjoying fair health. But when the operation was performed It was found thut tho goitre had practically eaten away tho wall of tho trachea, showing show-ing that death would soon have resulted re-sulted without an operation. |
