In the wlntor of 18S1 nnd 18S2, he attended tho Ilrlghnm Young Academy nt I'rovo, and Inter the Presbyterian Mission school nt Monroe, whoro ho studied the fundamentals of law. Ho borrowed books from Judge D. P.
