Show Friday, October 11, 1957 Magna Times, Magna, Utah DEER HUNTING REGULATIONS iARE LISTED FOR HUNTERS The Utah Department of Fish and Game spokesman today listed the following deer hunting regulations in reply to the vast number of inquiries coming to department offices and field men. accidents Careless hunting may cost a hunting license. Any person caiflessly or negligently killing or wounding another person while on a hunting trip shall be subject to a revocation of all hunting privileges for a period of five years. 2. Rifles must be no less than .22 caliber. It shall be unlawful for any person at any time to hunt deer with any rifle less than .22 caliber. Deer cartridges must be at least 2 inches in length with expanding type bullets. 3. Hunters must stop at checking stations. It shall be unlawful for any person to foil to stop at checking stations or road block- - ades where a stop sign is displayed. 4. No one under 16 years of age may hunt deer. 5. Deer hunting must be confined to daylight hours. It shall be unlawful fur any person to hunt deer with a flashlight, spotlight or any other type of artificial light fl. Dugs prohibited.
