Show PANGUITCH Mr. and Mrs. Clark J. Tebbs and daughter Cindy spent a few days with his mother, Mrs Eva M. Tebbs. Clark is stationed at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Earl Tebbs and daughter Vickie of Las Vegas, Nevada were week , end visitors with Mrs. Errol Dowdell and Mrs. Eva M. Tebbs. Mr. Harry O. Herrick of Coalton, Calif., his grandchildren Florence and Jerry Pitkin of Mentone, Calif., and Frank Mayne of Yucaipa, Cal. were deerhunt visitors at the Joseph Maloney home. Mr. Maloney was among the first ' to get his buck, a five pointer an hour or so after the opening of the hunt, in Dog Valley. Daughters lone Bolancer and Helen Lindford of Cedar City helped Mrs. Joseph Maloney celebrate her birthday, on Oct. 22nd. Dewey Beckstrom reports that -as -far as deer hunting, went "Dilworth didn't". Visiting with Mrs. Dempster Davies for the deer hunt were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Da-vies and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Davies of California, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Davies of Provo, Ray Davies of Midvale, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Jackson of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Farns-worth and family of Pleasant Grove visited during the Hunt at the Ray Tebbs home; Saturday visitors were Mrs. Mary Stubbs, her daughter Mrs. Maryetta Orton and son, all of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Davis and family of Orem were visitors at the Joseph Davis home. Mr. and Mrs. Rile Dutton, and baby daughter of Riverton spent a week during the hunt with her parents, Mr. and Mrs Edwin Talbot. .Tim Sargent of Cedar City was a weekend guest at the Don Ipson home. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Worth-Ington and family spent the weekend at Nephl. Visiting at the Ned Talbot home were her brother William Cunningham of Chlllico-phe; Missouri and her cousin Bual Ogden of Hale, Missouri. The men spent several days in San Juan County for the special hunt and three days here, and went home "filled up" With big deer. The Jaycees held their annual Halloween party in the Elementary School Wednesday evening. Cases o f flu among the grade school children are on the increase, according to Principal Mrs. Irene McEwen. Brown, also Mr. and Mrs. Robert Orr, all of Bakersfield, Calif. The men got their deer to take home. Kate Church was hostess to Les Gal Matrones at bridge last Thursday. Cleta Cherring-ton won high, Florence Parker second, Mamio Hatch and Jessie Cherrington shared slam honors. Guests were Ruth Henrie, Ethel Jesse, and Mamio Hatch who won high guest prize. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Jesse returned to La Jolla, Calif, on Tuesday, after spending four months in Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sevy were weekend visitors at St. George with her sister Amy and family. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Gardner of Junction visited Saturday with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs; Tom Proctor. Mrs. Nora Pearson of Cir-cleville has been visiting with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Proctor. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Largo of Salt Lake are visiting with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Large. Mr. and Mrs. Maloy Dodds and family were weekend vis itors at the Thomas Dodds home. |
