Show HUNTING NEWS Holders of special permits I for the three early season I hunts on the Antimony, East I Zion and Henry Mountain un- I its which ended Sept. 30, may 1 return to those areas fqr the 1 later season hunts in each and use either their special or regular license unused tags, if they wish to do so, Another ruling new this year allows any holder of a special permit to also use his regular license tak for taking an animal on the area and during the season for which this special permit is valid. This regulation applies only to the special hunting seasons and areas and only the holder of the specjal permit for such an area may use his regular license thereon. Th'e question is how arc you gonna thin 'em out if you can't find 'em? Local sportsmen who drew tags for the special hunt on the Antimony district which was supposed to thin the deer population there,- are reporting that the deer just aren't cooperating they refuse to be thinned, The deer are either hiding or have taken off for some hunting district where they are in no danger of being thinned out. There were few deer shot after the first day. Maybe after the hunt they will come back to the Antimony district most of the hunters are inquiring who made the suggestion that this district needed thinning ! ! |
