Show HATCH ltevn Tjowdcr Mrs. David Sawyer and two sons took Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Sawyer to Flagstaff Friday to meet Mrs. Melvin Miller of Oklahoma City, Okla., who plans to visit the Saw yers about two weeks. Mrs. David Sawyer and Mrs. T. H. Sawyer went to Tropic Thursday to take Mrs.' Roy Shakespear to the Panguitch hospital. The three Shakespear boys returned here to stay with their grandparents. Sunday, Roy visited here and his son Darwin returned home with him. Mr. and Mrs. DeLin Crofts of St. George spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans; visiting the Evans one day last week were the Merrill Clarks of Spanish Fork. Mrs. Evans spent Sunday afternoon with her mother Mrs. Sessie Clark in Order-ville. Over 30 members of Sunday School classes went to St. George Temple Saturday. Mrs. Noreen Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans. Eldah Porter, Mr and Mrs. Jesse Wilson, and Russell Wilson took their cars Mr. and Mrs. Gam Huntington of St. George visited Thursday night with the O.B. Huntingtons and went on tol Salt Lake and Logan on busi-j ness. They stopped ovjr Sat-1 urday night with the Hunting-1 tons on their way back to St." George. Phil Burrows and Billie of Salt Lake visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. James H. Burrows. Billie stayed to visit for awhile. La Von Sawyer went to Salt Lake with Phil on business. ' Mrs. Forrest Hill and five children of Gunnison visited Mrs. Effel Riggs the latter part of last week. Here for Mother's Day from Cedar City were Mr. and Mrs. Leland Riggs and' two girls, the Wallace Heaps, Cal and Reva Burrows, and Deon Porter. Emma Little, who has been working in Cedar City for the past eight months, is home or awhile. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap ind daughter JoAnn and Ruth Wilson visited Sunday aftcr-loon in St. George with Mr. md Mrs. M. H. Barnhurst. Clark L. Evans of Kanab spent Monday in town. Yvonne and LaRue Camp-jell of St. Geotge visited their parents for Mother's Day. Visiting the Arthur Saw-r'ers Friday were the Phil loyts of Orderville; the Der-d Sawyers of Orderville on Sunday. The Sunday School presented a Mother's Day program Sunday. Stake visitors ,vho spoke in Sacrament meeting were Lloyd Hatch and Kay Bendixson of Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Evans 3f Parowan visited here Sunday. Vance went back with them after spending several days here with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Evans.. The I). H. Evans' visited Sunday in Tropic with the John Mcchams. Donna Clifton of Winslow, Wash, and the Earl Riggs family of Layton are visiting the Orlas Rices family. Cloyd Campbell visited in St. George Sunday afternoon with his mother. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Fallis gave their wedding dance on Saturday night. |
