Sears, head of the dejiartment of hygiene and preventive medieine of the University of Utah, delivered a series of three lectures in the Hiawatha Amusement hall. In the forenoon Dr. Sean talked to school boys and young men on Boy Problems." In the afternoon he lectured to an assemblage of women and girls on The Miracle of Motherhood." The address in the evening was entitled" Physical Hand-icato Mental and Spiritual Development," and was greatly appreciated hy a large audience. The lectures were accompanied by slides and motion pictures bearing on the subjects discussed. Vocal selections were given by Miss Edrie Petty of Fcrron. Dr. Sears is well known thmugout the Htale and spends a great portion of his time in these lecture tours M'hich are maintained by the state university in its extension work, and by the state board in its health program. This is his initial visit to Hi awatha and he left a host of admirers and friends liehind him in addition to much food for deep thought.
