He was the eon of Calvin and Lucy Miles, and was born November 11, 1876. at Kaysville. His life was spent In laboring to build up i the desert and make It blossom as the rose. He made the struggle, with th early pioneers. In helping to conquer con-quer the desert. Most of his life was spent at Hooper. He was ln the employment em-ployment of the Southern Pacific railroad rail-road for 10 ears He also spent two vears In Idaho. Besides an aged mother moth-er ho leaves the following brother and sisters: Delecta Simpson. Lucy Simpson and I-wls Miles of Hooper, Janette Hlglcy. Shelley, Ida., and Susan Su-san McCloy. Rupert. Ida.; also John H, Miles who hiw not been heard from since hl3 discharge from the army November. 1H18. Funeral services ser-vices will be held at the Hooper ward chapel Sunday.
