Jones and Representative Repre-sentative Wilford Day: A resolution: WHEREAS tho mornl ideals and moral stamina of the young people oi our community nrc constantly being undermined by nttendnnce nt tho ordinary or-dinary picture show, n condition which we understand maintains throughout the state, ahd WHEREAS tho mannger of our local picture house either will not or cannot can-not secure different types of pictures due to the fact thnt he is furnished his films by a company having little interest in-terest in tho mornl welfare or intellectual intel-lectual needs of the young people of small communities, nnd WHEREAS thoso who nro giving serious ser-ious thought to tho mornl welfare of the American people recognizing the wonderful power for good nnd evil of the picture show aro . urging that something bo done to control this fnctor if our life. BE IT RESOLVED by the Parent-Teachers Parent-Teachers Association of Cedar City, Utah, that we urge upon our senntor and representative in the State Legislature Legis-lature that a bill be passed at this session creating a censorship of films that may be shown in this state.
