Christensen, who reside near the Summit, was seriously ln--; ured early in the week when she was struck by a bullet from a .11 calibre rifle. The little girl was In a swing at her home at the time of the accident and the bullet entirely through the fleshy part of her leg, some distance above the knee. She was attended by Dra. Laker and Howell and is getting along splendidly at this time, but It was a remarkable escape aa the bullet would bare caused ,the childs death if It had penetrated her abdomen or breast A couple of boys, who live id the same neighborhood and who using a .If rifle, are undoubtedly responsible for the childs injury.
