Show Pa I 8 Friday, September 17; 1920. EUBEKA BEPOBTEB i E The funeral of Frank Owem, aon of Mr. and Mrs. WlUian Owem, which took place la it Friday after-npo- n wai a most Impressive ceremony. The service was conducted at the Catholic Church, Rev. Hickey presiding. Musical numbers were by the choir under the leadership of Miss Helen Beesley, a vocal solo by Mrs. P. J. Bonner and a violin solo by Edward Bonner. Mrs. G. C. Lindsay being accompanist. The pall bearers were: Jobn Downey, Dean Henrlod, Elbert Beesley, Jerry Sullivan, Bert Fields and Arthur Coffey, the altar boys from the Catholic Church acting as honorary pall bearers while the remains were being taken from the residence to the church. Sullivan returned on Monday after a lengthy visit with Salt Lake friends. Manager John W. Taylor of the Copper Leaf property was in Provo on business for hia company during the past week. John Morley, Jr., who has been employed at Provo for some time, was In Eureka during the past week visiting with his parents. Lewis Merrlman waa in Balt Lake during the early part of the week, going there for a visit with Warren McAdams, who has been very seriously 111 for the past few weejfs. Miss May Sullivan, one of the operators at the local telephone office, is enjoying her vacation and on Monday she left for a visit with Salt Lake friends. Mr. and Mra. Morrel George, who has been living at Palo Alto, Cal., for the past few years, has returned to Eureka and will spend the winter with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John!. Morley. Mr. George Is taking a cour.e in medicine at one of the I California universities. Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Bur son will leave within the next few days Idaho, making the trip by anto and with the Intention of locating Burley where they have some farming Interests. Mr. Bur son recently disposed of his business and other local Interests. Charlie Chaplin will be seen at the Crescent Theatre Thursdays in one of the best parts he has played. His delineation of the part of the newly arrived Immigrant filled to the brim with fun and merriment. First show starts at 6.30 p. m. See this show first and attend the big concert at the Star afterward. Mrs. McCarthy, who spent the greater part of the summer visiting her daughters, Miss Cecelia McCarthy of Salt Lake and Mrs. William Mathews of Eureka, left yesterday for her home in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Mathews accompanied Mrs. McCarthy as far as Salt Lake, making the trip by auto. Warren O.
