He was bom March 25, 1910, in Grover, Wyo. to George Albert and Bessie Eva Johnson Hyde. He married June Myers, April 22,1948. The marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple, November 1958. He worked with the Road Department for many years in Las Vegas, Nev. He held many positions in the LDS Church and was very dedicated. They have made many coniributions to family, church and community during their 68 years of companionship, and together they make a great team. Harold worked at Union Pacific as a fireman and at Nelson Ricks Creamery Company before working for the State of Utah Agriculture DepL as a sanitation inspector. Harold has also been a bishop, high counselor, group priesthood leader, gospel doctrine teacher and is still a home teacher for the LDS Church. Ruth has been an exemplary homemaker, excelling at cooking, cleaning and loving her family. There is no place like Harold's and Ruth's home. She has also worked in Primary, Mutual, as a visiting teacher and as Relief Society president for the church. Together, the couple have worked as ordinance workers in the Manti, Provo arid St. George LDS Temples, Ruth as a supervisor twice and Harold as a sealer. The couple's most cherished accomplishment is their six children and 68 grand, great- and great-great-grandchildren. Harold still gardens and Ruth cans. Happy birthday to both Harold and Ruth.
