Show Obituary. Commun icated.l Wm. Harrison was born March 28, 1828, in the city of London, England, and died at Provo Sunday morning, January 6, 1895, at 6:45 o'clock. He embraced the gospel as taught by the Church of Jesus Christ cf Latter-day Sainie, in the year 1S48. Shortly after being baptized, he was crdaired to the office of an elder, and sent out to preach the gospel in his native land, and while thus engaged was on two different differ-ent occasions imprisoned for advocating the principles as revealed to the Prophet Joseph Smith. In February, 1855, he emmigrated to America, locating lo-cating for a few years in Philadelphia, and while he sojourned in the east was ever ready in defense of the eosel and on all occasions giving a helping hand to the missionaries traveling from place to place. He moved west, arriving ar-riving in Salt Lake city in September, 1862; W8S always an active member of the church, holding many important positions, and was always found faithful faith-ful to every trust. While he resided in the Ninth ward, Salt Lake city, he was called to officiate offici-ate at the re-baptism of over eight hundred souls. He moved to Provo in 1878, where he has Bince resided, loved and respected by all who knew him. Mr. Harrison was the father of thirty children, fiftv-eight grand-children and j two great grand-children. Funeral services over the remains of I the deceased were held from the Fourth !
