Utah, to Vernal Albert and Olive Lucinda Shepherd Christensen. He married Trudy Lyn White on August 23. 1968. in the Manti LDS Temple. Christensen was raised in Salina. Utah, where he graduated from North Sevier High School. He graduated from Snow College and earned a Masters Dein Education from Utah State University. While still in high school. Kent made a cominitment to the education of children. His love for education stayed with him throughout his entire career. He taught in gree Survivors include his wife. Grover was born and raised in Gunnison. Utah. As a young boy he worked hard with his father on their farm located west of Gunnison. Soon after Grover graduated from Gunnison High School he was inducted into the military service. He served our country well in the Pacific area during World War II. Beverly was born in Ephraim, Utah. She graduated from high school and continued her education at Snow College where she graduated with an Associate in Arts Certificate. Grover and Beverly were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple September 25. 1946. They made their home in Gunnison where Grover worked as a cattleman and farmer. They have been strong and supportive members of this community for over 50 years. Grover served as bishop oif the Gunnison 2nd Ward where he helped in building the Gunnison Stake Center. They are the parents of four children: Randy (Shelly) Childs: Scott (Robyn) Childs: Karen (Garth) Mellor; and Lynette (Bruce) Teuscher. They are also the proud grandparents of grandsons. 1 George.
