Show OBITUARY funeral services were held in the ward chapel tuesday afternoon over the remains of anno anne marie jacobson lee wife of niels C lee who died thursday after a lingering ill illness nes services were vero conducted by dishop bishop J L staples the ward choir under the direction 0 of prof J D montague sang resting now from care and sorrow consolation and rest best for the weary mrs woodruff sylvester and mrs leon madsen ladsen A sang a duet duct sometime somewhere J I 1 jensen aavo a sketch of the life of the departed and spoke with praise of tho the noble character she possessed tho the other speakers were S and bishop J L staples each gave words of consolation to the aged abed husband and children also spoke highly of 0 tho the departed one counselor H J notter kotter offered the opening prayer and counselor J A bateman the closing dedicating the grave the floral offerings were many and beautiful which spoke of the high esteem in which she was held anne marie jacobson leo lee was born at Derby shy denmark jan 25 she was married to niels C leo lee april ath osgi they came to albert lee minnesota in in the winter of 1874 they joined tho the mormon church and leaving minnesota came to elsinore in 1875 where they have made their homo home sinco since then mrs lee was the mother of nine children seven of whom are left to survive her besides her husband she leaves the following children james J of albert lee minn christian P of alberta canada christie of 0 milford Mil tord hannah herschie Hir emma nielson dora ross of 0 alberta canada and Bl matilda atilda jensen of richfield also 52 grandchildren and 22 great grand children the departed one had reached an age of sl sa years and a peculiar coincidence leaves 81 dirt direct descendants |
