Show I 1 obituaries obituary des I 1 MARGARET MARGAKET at OGDEN funeral services were held sunday afternoon af in the richfield first ward chapel for mrs margaret muir ogden 63 wife of heber T ogden who died of c cancer an at her home in richfield on thursday morning vern blomquist of the ward bishopric conducted the services speakers were bishop junius F ogden enoch R larsen and C P christensen Shri stensen the latter giving a biographical graphical aio sketch of mrs ogden with miss mary albertson at the piano mrs weldon peterson of salt lake gave a musical reading A mothers watch by edgar A guest the ward choir of which mrs ogden had been a member sang sometime well understand and ill go where you want me to go dear lord owen bingham played a cello solo through deepening trials A solo that wonderful mother of mine was vas sung by talmage de lange A ladies quartet composed of mrs lucille G davis mrs owen M ogden mrs H W keate and mrs enoch R larsen sang love at home mrs lizzie hansen played the organ accompaniments pani ments with miss albertson assisting at the piano in accompanying the choir which was directed i by mrs emily hiesdorff Gies dorff J the invocation was by john ence I 1 the benediction by leonard ogden I 1 burial was in the richfield cemetery where patriarch H J hansen dedicated the grave pallbearers Pall bearers were a grandson richard ward and five sons in law alfred J ward rich harward elmo herring coleman rogers and royal lott mrs ogden was born on april 17 1876 at rock springs wyoming a daughter of john and janet wilson muir she came to richfield with her family at the age of 12 she was married to heber T ogden on december 2 1896 in the manti L D S temple active in church work mrs ogden had served on the ward genealogical committee the ward choir and had held several positions in the relief society surviving besides her husbands husband 1 are the following sons and daughters mrs veline ward of richfield mrs arthella rogers of central mrs civilla lott of elsinore mrs mabel harward and ramona ogden of richfield mrs mar margaret aret herring of kimberly heber heb er J ogden and dan M ogden of richfield twenty five grandchildren two great grand children and one sister mrs bell peterson of gunnison survive LORENZO DOW BUCHANAN funeral services were held on wednesday afternoon in the venice nice ward chapel for lorenzo dow buchanan 75 a resident of venice for 40 years who died at his home in venice on december 30 mr buchanan was b bom om at manti on april 16 1864 a son of archibald and amelia whiting buchanan he moved with his parents to glenwood when he was eig eight ht years of age he married mary larsen of manti on febra I 1 ary 24 1892 in the manti L D S temple surviving besides his widow are one daughter mrs josephine jorgenson of salt lake four sons boyd elwood lavere and june I 1 buchanan of venice 19 grandchildren one great grandchild 8 sisters mrs theda of lyman mrs edna beecroft of Phoe phoenix nbc arizona mrs amy ence of richfield mrs tina young of I 1 j logan mrs lyle poole of annai bella mrs ethel B breinholt rei aholt and mrs myrl brugger of venice and mrs mary black of los angeles four brothers A W buchanan of I 1 I 1 venice henry P buchanan of I 1 I 1 richfield carl buchanan of blackfoot idaho and earl Bucha buchanan of tremonton Tre monton and a brother by adoption I 1 jacob smith of tremon ton I 1 i |
