Show AGED WOODRUFF CITIZEN DIES AT THE AGE OF 96 polly tryphenia bryson the eldest citizen of rich county died march 25 1943 in paris idaho she was bom bola dec 11 1846 conewango Cone wango new york she was the daughter of tryphenia and john fairchild when a child she came to salt lake city utah she took every advantage of education she could and taught school for many years she married samuel bryson of bountiful utah they moved to woodruff to this union were born nine children childrel seven of whom are living they ill all attended the funeral she had a large post posterity crity living 25 dead there were six generations living until her death she has sixteen of her posterity post erty tn in the armed forces of the 0 S A she was a very industrious woman knitting crocheting cioch eting and making many beautiful quilts she did much of this work after she was 90 years of age she worked in the church organizations and was the first president of the woodruff abia and relief society and many other she was a a good neighbor an and loving mother her husband samuel bryson died in sept 1919 her funeral was held march at woodruff and laid to rest in the woodruff cemetery beside her husband the choir sang 0 my father glen longhurst a grandson offered the invocation mrs annie Wa wamsley sang that ii iother of mine ine obituary y was lead by a great grand laug mer zelda elda cook first speaker speake r klam cook a grandson la in the gar ga r dla d n was as sang by bertha porter a grandeau grand granddaughter dau ahter second speaker T J ling pg ogden den gon goin home was sung by allewe djoi cook a grandson was the third speaker the choir sang rest rest benediction by earl stuart there were a great number of her posterity in attendance also alsi other relatives and friends dave dean and wife mr and mrs vernon eastman mrs ethel faddis mr and mrs vosco walton harriet spencer wilson dean of F evanston v anston mr and mrs oscar hanney mr and mrs keith jessop of randolph and her many relatives and friends who at one time lived in woodruff hattie bryson hattle hattie barber mr and mrs geo eastman leah walton leverne and wayne dickson T J mavis mr and mrs geo south mr and mrs geo sessions wayne ea eastman st mr and mrs chas bryson dave bryson and family merlyn bryson and family bill bryson and wife bertha porter jim bryson and wife and many others the file pallbearers Pall bearers were her posterity and two of triam were in uniforms may we so live that when we die some of the good things said of sister bryson can be said of us |
