Stephens, Sunset; Mrs. Val (Ruth) Gale, Chand- ler, Ariz.; and 34 grandchildren 15 ALSO SURVIVING are two LEE EDWARD THURGOOD brothers and three sisters, Lee Edward Thurgood, age 7H. of 3421 W. 300 N., West Point, died May 3, 1982 in an Ogden hospital after an extended illness. 1IL WAS born April 18, 1904 in Sjrucuse, a son of John E. .nid Mildred Lee Thurgood. te married Vera Barton Nov. 1928 in the Logan LDS " eniple. He was a dairy farmer and had lived in West Point most of Ins life except for five years in "Twin Falls, Ida. ' r 1 HE WAS president and director of the Salt Lake of the Federal Land Bank, chairman of the board of directors of the Federal Land Bank of Berkeley, Calif., Asso-'yriati- director of the Weber and Davis Canal Co., president 'arid director of the Clearfield lirigation Co., president and director of the Davis County Canning Crops Association and director of the Utah Jersey Cattle Club. He was an active member of vthc West Point LDS First Ward and had served as a scoutmaster, Sunday School teacher in the presidency of the Seventies Quorum, on the slake high council, and the ' , stake Sunday School board. Nevada St., Carson ity . Nev ., died May 6, 1982 in the George Washington Uni- - , "!l c. IIF. WAS horn Sept. 30, 1914 , in Farmington. Ut., the son of Asa 1). and LeVora J. Walker Cl.rk. He had been the energy ; commissioner for Nevada siate since 1977. He retired Lorn this position in July, '81. He had been a public ser- ice commissioner for Nevada state for 21 years. He was a past president of the U.S. Pub-- ,j lie Utilities Commission and was on a presidential assign- -' e n lent as consultant to the Commerce Commission ! , and Eufrashia Christensen Keller. She married Vince Flint active member of the Air Force Association. She was reared in Ogden and attended Ogden High School. She resided in Kaysville since August of 1952. She was a member of the Kaysville 17th LDS Ward. SURVIVING are three sons and three daughters, Thomas A. Phillips, Marshall S. Phillips and Mrs. Roger (Colleen) Scothem, all of Layton; Kevin Dee Phillips, Monticello; Mrs. Robert (Sally) Martin, Roy; Lana Cunningham, Ogden; and 19 grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother of Ogden; three brothers and three sisters, Roland C. Keller, San Mateo, Calif.; Grant B. Keller, Ogden; Paul S. Keller and Barbara Letton, bgth of San Jose, Calif.; Mi's; Richard (Penny) Rankin, Campbell, Calif.; and Connie J. Griggs, Sunnyvale, Calif. FUNERAL SERVICES were held with Bishop Beck Sheffield, Kaysville 17th Ward, officiating. According to Mr. Jaques the intruders drawers and generally made a mess of his home. Among the items stolen were a bobcat hide and a badger hide both mounted on felt backgrounds. The hides are especially meaningful to Mr. Jaques but they have no value to anyone else. Darrell Vigil, former Layton resident, now living in Ogden, ram-sack- Chapel on May 4,. 1982. She died Friday, April 30 in the McKay Dee Hospital after an extended illness. SHE WAS born March 25, 1921 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Cornelis H. Keller Phillips Nov. 1, 1938 in Ogden. He died July 20, 1975. SHE WAS a computer programmer at Hill Air Force Base and had recently retired after 32 years of service. She was an LaytdnNews Layton Sixth Ward enjoyed a Mothers Day buffet and was the guest of honor at a birthday dinner held at the home of his brother, Joseph Vigil in Sunset. The party was held last Saturday. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Joe S. Vigil, Darrells parents of Layton; Mrs. Ruby Vigil and children of Roy ; Mrs. Roberta Babb and children of Roy; Mr. and Mrs. Felix Maas and children of Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. David Appleby and children of Clearfield. INTERMENT was in the Kaysville City Cemetery with grave dedication by Ivan Brewer. Adelheid Creuzburg Bruckert, age 84, of 230 E. 1000 N., Layton died May 6, 1982 in a Clearfield nursing home.
