W Padget last Thursday July surprised surprised surprised sur sur- and grieved Monroe people who had already formed a high opinion opinion opinion ion of oC him although he lie had been a resident of our community for Cor little littlemore littlemore littlemore more than a month Dr Padget and Mrs Padget had been out to the time berry farm farm- Wednesday afternoon of oC last week for lor berries berries and and were ece o out t in ina in-a a berry patch at about abou 3 o'clock when the doctor complained of oC pets pain and e et f not not- feeling well He sat down on the ground and soon became Mrs l Padget summoned help and the doctor was taken into the Stuart residence a and d Dr Goodrich phoned for The Time patient was taken to his home in Monroe where he passed away the next day at S 8 o'clock o'clock- in the evening He had assisted in several surgical operations in the I forenoon of the day on which he was wan stricken and it is thought that th the the- attendant strain and the heat of the the- day brought on the attack of heart weakness that resulted fatally Dr Padget proposed to enlist in army service about bout bouta a year ago anaI and ana I was rejected owing wing to heart wea weakness weakness weak weak- I ness of which he was not aware un until tit he underwent under a medical examination on th that t occasion I Funeral services ser were held in the Methodist church of Monroe l on Sim- Sim t day at 2 p. p m. m conducted by Rev E.
