Show OBITUARY i The funeral services of John V. Myers Jr. who pa.-sed away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. ". Myers, Saturday night, at S:45. p. m., from pneumonia, was held Tuesday morning at the L. D. S. church. Bishop Bird conducting the services. Music was furnished by the church choir, which sang: "Those Deeping Trials," "Sweet Hour of Prayer." and "Oh My Father." The opening prayer was made by Elder H. H. Pitchforth. The speakers were Bishop Bird. James Tanner and Cammon Arring-ton. Arring-ton. who spoke words of cheer to the bereaved ones. Benediction John F. Murdock. The floral offerings were beautiful. beauti-ful. After the services the body was ta.ken to Minersville, his old home, where services were held at the L. D. S. church at 2 o'clock p. m. The church was filled with relatives and friends. The speakers were James Wood. John Eyre and George Eyre. Music was furnished by the church choir. Services were opened by Ernest Eyre. Closing prayer was made by Joseph Jos-eph Banks. Tnteremnt was made at the Minersville Miners-ville cemetery. Pall bearers were, Clinton Myers. Larkin Erickson. Augus My;rs, i-Tar old Hesllngton. The deceased was born in Minersville, Miners-ville, August 17. 18S8 and died on Hecember 31, 1921. .He was the son of John W. and Mury M. Myers. He married Mrs. Lenora Erickson, of Minersville. To them was born three children, Deloy, William and Wanda, and practically practical-ly all his lite, until the last two years when he came here to work at the shops. Early in the winter he was l-i.l rifF orol ho with bis fnmilv. mov ed to Shaunty, where he was taken sick with pneumonia, before Xm-as. A few days before his death he was so much better, It was .thought best to move him to Irs father's home. He was taken worse about 5 o'clock Saturday and never recovered. He was well respected by all who knew him. He leaves a wife three children, father, mother, a sister Miss Flossie Myres and four brothers, Clinton, Herbert, D. Augus and Joseph to mourn him. |
