Show W , . OBITUARY James P. Hickman was born in Mil ford, March 27, 1890, and after completing com-pleting a two year business course at the B. Y. U., he went in the bank here as assistant to Chesley Barton. After working in the bank a short time he resigned and accepted a position posi-tion as bookkeeper with the Baker Lumber Company. When the Baker Bak-er Lumber Company sold out to the Bonneville Lumber Company, he was retained as manager of the lumber yard at Nephi, and afterwards he was transferred to the Manti yard, where he resided 'till the first of Feb ruary, 1919, where he resigned to accept the position as Assistant cashier for the Milford State Bank. He worked as assistant cashier here for four months, then resigned to accept a position with the Citizens Lumbr Company at Richfield, where he was employed at the time of his death. He was also well advanced in the musical line as well as an accountant. account-ant. "He was a first class trombonist, a trap drummer and played some on the clarinet. He was always classed among the cleanest and brightest young men in the state. He leaves a wife, two children, mother, father, two sisters and five brothers to mourn his loss. |
