She married Stewart Adamson on December 12, 1947. Their marriage mar-riage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They raised their four children in American Amer-ican Fork; Stewart Lynn, Shayne (Reed) Buckner, Scott, and Shelley Shel-ley (Allen) Jensen. Maxine is the grandmother to seven grandchildren grandchil-dren and 10 great grandchildren. Maxine was born and raised in Pleasant Grove, but after her marriage mar-riage they moved to American Fork and has called American Fork home for the past 57 years. Maxine worked at Friday's Office Supply for 17 years and has served in all auxiliaries of the church but serving in the Relief Society was her great love. . Ted was born August 3, 1916 in Paris, Idaho Ida-ho to Earl and Sara Gunter Clegg. He was raised in McCammon, Idaho where he started working as a young boy for various farmers farm-ers and has continued to work hard throughout his lifetime. In high school, he loved sports and participated in track, football and basketball as well as school plays. After high school, Ted moved to Southern California where he attended school and worked on the Los Angeles Aqueduct Aque-duct near Palm Springs. He married mar-ried his high school sweetheart, Velma Davis, June 30, 1937 and they recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. They were later sealed in the Provo LDS Temple. Ted and Velma moved to Utah and Ted worked construction building Deer Creek Dam and at the Geneva Steel Plant. They bought a farm in Orem where they raised their three children, Gayle (Ron) Jacobsen, Sandra (Jack) Wallace and Earl (Marian Rowley). Ted worked with wonderful friends building many beautiful homes in central Utah until he retired re-tired in 1980. Throughout his lifetime he has enjoyed the outdoors and being in nature. Hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, snow mobiling have all been a wonderful part of his life and he still participates in some of those activities. Ted has lived a life of service to his family and those around him. He is always helping someone whether it be to remodel their home, cut down trees, shovel their walks, help them move, take the scouts camping, camp-ing, etc. etc. He still grows the best garden and gives most of the produce away. The most important thing in his life is his family. He loves to be with his grandchildren; Michelle, Shawna, Jeff, Nicole, Jaron, Jon, Kevin, and Alesa.- His face lights up when he sees his great grandchildren; grand-children; Chelsea, Kieley, Jessica, Tyler, Cameron, Cassidy, Cate, Grace, Jackson, Parker, Duncan and Kendrick. They all love to go to grandpa and grandma's to pull a carrot from their garden, feed the horses, play in the backyard, look at the mounted deer heads and fish, eat ice cream and cookies cook-ies and be give quarters and dollars dol-lars when they leave. We love you dad, grandpa, great grandpa and dear husband. We are so blessed to have you in our lives. Thank you for all you do for us and the example you are to everyone. Happy birthday.
