Twenty-seven male students attended one of the most grueling practices this year and most were extremely tired by 4:30. A few comments made by Assistant Coach Garry Walker were: "We have some really talented wrestlers, but a lot of them are young. Our biggest weakness is inexperience." Coach Walker continued by saying, "We are definitely few in numbers in the heavier weights, with only one deep in the upper weights on our roster, but if we progress well, we should be really tough at region." While the Wildcats have few heavier wrestlers, their lighter weights are loaded with some hopeful younger wrestlers. A few weeks ago, The Park Record printed an article about the South Summit Wrestling Team. The article said that South Summit is the team to beat in 2A. Coach Crandall said that he believes it will be another year or two until South Summit reaches that level.
