Show Obituaries Page A8 Aubrey Kae Arnell April 24, 1977 - Sept. 9, 2007 Aubrey Arnell, dear wife, adoring mother, beloved sister, daughter and granddaughter, passed peacefully from the bounds of this life Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, in the embrace of her children and husband. Cancer conquered her body but never her spirit. Aubrey was a student, professor and scholar of prodigious talent with a marvelous intellect only exceeded L.M. (Dick) Whittaker L.M. “Dick” Whittaker, 90, passed away Sept. 11, 2007, of natural causes at his home in Coalville. L.M. was born May 30, 1917, in Nephi, to Zenas LeRoy and Beatrice Norton Whittaker. Dick married Wanda Firn Riley on May 8, 1941, The Summit County Bee by her wisdom and insight. We mourn on behalf of those left untaught but rejoice for those now hearing her voice. She was appealingly quirky and unwaveringly loyal. None were consistently prepared for encounters with her uncommon wit and humor, though duly warned by her impish grin. She will be greatly missed by all she touched, especially her husband, Chris; children, Caleb (7), and Mykaela (4); parents, Karl and Shanna Hopkins; sister, Elizabeth Bailey; brother, Chris Hopkins, and grandparents, “Buster” and Donna Keyes. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at 1005 South 2000 East, Salt Lake City. There will be a viewing preceding the service at the same location, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m., Friday evening, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South. Burial will be held in the Coalville Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.larkinmortuary.com. in Burley, ID, and later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Dick was a farmer and welder at the amalgamated sugar Factory in Paul, ID. He always had a project that he was working on during his retirement. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and always had a testimony of the gospel. Dick and Wanda served two LDS Missions from ‘79’81 and ‘89-’90. He has four children, 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and is also survived by his sweetheart, Wanda, and one sister. Funeral services for Dick will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m., in the Coalville Stake Center, 40 North Main Street in Coalville. A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the church prior to the service. Kevin Lazell Fish Kevin Lazell Fish, a loving husband, brother, son and friend, passed away at his home in Francis, on Sept. 7, 2007. Born on Sept. 9, 1955, in the old Iron County Hospital in Cedar City, to Bessie Beatty Fish and Howard Leon Fish. They were so proud to welcome their 6th child, a beautiful baby boy. Kevin’s father was killed tragically when he was only 8 months old. However, he was very close with his stepfather, Jim Carroll. He graduated from Wasatch High School. Kevin had many talents and many friends. He loved to hunt and was an expert carpet layer for many years. He married the love of his life, LaNette Sulser Mair, on Aug. 19, 1987. Together they became known as FISHNET. We will miss his bashful manner and his beautifully radiant smile. May peace be with you now as you have passed through the veil to rejoin your Mother and Father. Survived by his wife, LaNette; stepson, Kerry (Melissa) Mair; stepfather, Jim Carroll. Also survived by brothers: Leon (Connie) Fish, Ashley (Marie) Fish, Jon B. (Shauna) Fish, Howard (Vickie) Fish; sisters: Raneva (John) Lemon and Cathi (Jerry) Van Leuven; sisters-in-law: Peggy (Harry) Gates and Susan Coleman; brother-in-law Arlyn Meeks. Preceded in death by his mother and father; mother-inlaw, Ardell Meeks Sulser. Graveside services were held on Thursday, Sept. 13. Interment was in the Midway City Cemetery. Wilson, beloved wife of Thomas Michael Wilson of Phoenix, AZ, went home to her Father in Heaven on Aug. 22, 2007, at the age of 63. Born on March 2, 1944, in Coalville. Linda is survived by two daughters, a stepdaughter and stepson. Survivors include Connie Zuniga (Jerry), Peoria, AZ; Sandie Jeserick (Mitchell), Pleasant Grove; Michael Allen Wilson (Christine), Phoenix, AZ, and Joie Lynn Street (Matthew), Show Low, AZ. Linda is further survived by a brother and sister, Wilda Peterson (Michael) and Andy Walsh (Roma), both of Coalville; 12 grandchildren and many friends. Linda retired in March after spending 45 years in the insurance industry. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose family was her priority. She kept her faith in the Lord until he saw fit to call her home. Memorial service held Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary. Internment at the same location. Go Classifieds!
