Boys team captain, Stuart Davis, shows optimism and strength in saying that we have a very solid chance of placing in the stale competition later this fall. The region tournament is scheduled here at South Summit High School where we will have the home site advantage. To make Cross Country a part of the school's Homecoming Week, the team was asked to run the ball into the game, as has been done in past years. The runners followed the route taken by the opposing team in a 30 mile relay. Each team member ran approximately one mile. Upon entering the stadium, the full team ran one lap around the track and finished by giving the ball to the referee. The Cross Country team helped to increase the school spirit arid pride and gave the football team an extra boost to take into their game against #1 ranked Grand. Got a News Tip?
