She was born June 23, in Goshen, Utah, to 1933, William Scott and Helen Golden Steele. She married Robert L. Gibson of Mona and he preceded her in death. She married Thomas J. Hopes October 11, 1952, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a very talented person and has written many tribites for funerals. She was a member of the Singing Mothers and sang solos at many funerals. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and enjoyed working in her beautiful yard. She is survived by her husband; 1 daughter and 2 sons: Mrs. John (Debbie) Relford, West Darrell City; Valley (Bufch) Richard Provo; Hopes, H. 6 and Orem; (Rick) Hopes, grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister: Mrs. Kay (Maxine) Peterson, Santaquin, and Richard Steele, Goshen. She was preceded in death by her brother, Golden. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, March 4, 19(8, at Holladay Hills Funeral Home, Santaquin. Interment was in the Goshen City teiy.
