It is a gift of Dr A whose Blaine Huntsman thoughtfulness is appreciated by all the workers and patrons The photograph was taken by Matthew Brady one of the last centuries’ and purmost noted photographers chased from the Library of Congress Dr Huntsman has paid also for the matting and framing done by Craig Bartholomew at DCR in Fillmore A plaque will later be installed indicating the years of Presidency and other facts about President Fillmore Dr Huntsman has always been a great supporter of civic improvement in the area and together with his late wife Helen has done much to get for Fillmore history and inquiries into the pioneer lives of its first set'lers The library is happy to be able to furnish more material than they had in the old facility and with more space for the patron to enjoy the research The librarians request copies of local history of towns and individuals to be donated which will be filed and made available in the Special Collections Room furnished by the McBride family Many individuals and families have given generously of their time and money to achieve this new library for which the Library Board and City Council are grateful Finishing touches
