The Gleaner Girls of the Third ward enjoyed a theater party in Provo Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Maycock and son, Howard, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clark returned Sunday from a trip to Zion National Park and Cedar Canyon. Mrs. P. A. Huymond, of Sunny-side, Sunny-side, spent the week-end with Mrs. D. P. Brinton. Mrs. N. J. Deal is leaving Saturday Satur-day for Los Angeles, where she will visit her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Finch. Word has been received here that Miss Melba Condie is studying in Boston. She is with her brother, Richard Condie, who graduates this year from the Boston Conservatory of music. Miss Florence Childs went to Logan for the commencement exercises ex-ercises at the U. A. C. She will remain for several days to visit friends there. Mrs. George Selwyn, or San Piego, Cnl., is here to visit her mother, Mrs. Jane Spa f ford, and her sister, Mrs. John Robinson. Mr. Richard Thorn has gone to California. Mrs. P. P. Brinton went to Salt Lake Monday to attend the commencement com-mencement exercises nt St. Mary's Academy, where her niece, Miss I Helen Raymond, was one of tlie graduates. Mr. nnd Mrs. Max Kless and Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Peterson visited in Manti Sunday. Miss Mary Roylance, Miss Lucy Roylance and Miss Iorio Palfreyman Palfrey-man entertained at. a shower Monday Mon-day evening at the home of Mrs. Eva Hansen for Miss Arvilla Ford Thomas, who was recently married.
