Large Number Visit Power Farming National Park, Utah, April to good weather and road conditions, travel to Zion National Park for the month of March, reach ed a total of 273 cars and 1.188 visitors, it was announced at the local office of the National Park Service, here today. This figure is nearly four times greater than the best previous record for the month, March 1926, when 315 persons enter- d the park. Of the total number of visitors, 165 came in 273 automobiles; while 23 arrived by stage. The total travel for the 1928 season, which started on October 1st is 3,572 people, of which 37 came by rail, and the remainder in 1,101 automobiles. The total for the season on the same date last year was 1,121 visitors in 355 care, an increase so ar this year of over 300 per cent. During holidays the past month the park has been a very popular place for picnic parties.
