Show THE MURRAY EAGLE Francisco. DENTAL BALLOT .PETITIONS LEGAL Attorney General Chez Rules In Favor Of Group Headed By Dr. Withers. In accordance with an opinion ( handed down by Attorney Central Chez the legislation proposed by a group of dentists headed by Dr. W. L. Withers will be placed on the regular ballot next November for the voters of Utah to decide whether dentists shall have the right to advertise. This question will now be settled once and for all time at the general election, us announced by Secretary of State Welling. In the opinion of the dentists advocating the repeal of the Statute enacted at the last legislature, a signal victory has already been won by the Attorney General's findings. The dentists who demand the right to advertise believe that their wishes will be overwhelmingly sustained by the voters of this State. These progressive dentists argue that lower dental prices will naturally follow the right to advertise. Mr. Welling has certified that the petitions circulated over the state contains the legal number of names of voters to warrant its presentation to the people under the initiative and referendum law which requires 10 per cent of the names of legal voters. These names also had to be certified to before a notary public. It has been a hard fight. One group of dentists oppose advertising on the ground that it is unethical. The other side claim that dental prices are too high. But the final decision is up to the people. LEGAL NOTICES For further information consult the County Clerk or the Signer.
