The govenor tells a comprehensive story of the state's remarkable Industrial In-dustrial activity how, for example, on the 2 and one.half percent ot the state's area that is irrigated and the 1 percent that is dry farmed, the one crop of beets alone is enough to produce pro-duce 100,000 tons of sugar a year and the fruit and vegetable" crops keep thirty-seven canneries busy. He also points out in a forceful manner the other oustandlng results of Intensive cultivation. Utah's preeminence last year as a silver mining stated it ranked first In the output of that metal as well as its standing as the producer ot other minerals, Jsthe subject of another part of the governor's article.
