| Show CASES FILE LN VS VAN PATTEN AND BURT VS BURT PROBATE MATTERS in the clerks office of the second district court there were filed today two cases M sues A van patten tor 2500 damages alleged to have been sustained because of the breaking of an alleged contract to sell certain mining stock the complaint alleges that van patten agreed to sell shares of carbonate hill stock at 20 cents per share and that shells commission was to be all over 20 cents he could secure claims that he sold the shares at 25 cents and that van patten refused to deliver the stock H H henderson is attorney for plaintiff james burt sr filed suit against his son john M burt for the cancellation and annulment of a certain deed to certain property which he alleges was secured by fraud and deceit and that he never knew that he bad signed such deed he alleges that he has received harsh and cruel treatment from the said defendant and that the property is yet his in fact his attorney is volney C gunnell ralph H douglas applied tor appointment as administrator of the estate of ralph douglas deceased philomela taylor applied for appointment as administratrix of the estate of wm A taylor deceased in the matter of the divorce of frank jardine vs mabel jardine the attorneys for defense asked that default be entered in that the cross complaint of defendant had not been answered the plaintiff has not yet paid the ordered by judge lilies into court and the developments case will become interesting later on |
