May either the good Lord or the bad devil see to it that they are glutted to capacity with silver and gold until they are miserable wit it in this life and have nothing to look upon in the next but their : columns and pages of rent and interest figures. The properdevelopment of the spirtual life will produce and bring everything that poor humanity may desire and need.. The things of the spirit are calling to the people of (his poor, lost world like the Master called to Jerusalem " long ago. To listen and take them unto their souls means " life and pace; to spurn them means continued misery and death. As Christ wept over Jerusalem so Lincoln wept over his country.
