Phone 27 East 1st South 2: To Assist With LOOKING TO Protestant Indian Center Ten students at Kansas State University arrived in Brigham City, Monday, Aug 25, and plan to remain until Thursday, Sept. 4, assisting with building operations at the new Protestant Indian Students Center. They were joined here by David Wilson of New Zealand and Aureo Bispa del Sontos, Brazil. The Brazilian visitors studied under Hershey Julien in Brazil and will go this fall to get his master's degree at a Presby-- i terian seminary. The young people, most of whom have never been West, are working hard as well as studying but still find time to enjoy the points of interest in jand around Brigham City. All are from rural homes near Manhatten, Kansas. Stuents are: Ardis Elbe, Lyons; Maria Bakis, Sterling; Virginia Bergstrom, Salina; Charles Hall, Medicine Hoxie; Lodge; Don Sumner, Bot Thudin, Newton; Don Fisher, Manhattan; Douglas Erbeck, DePore; Sherrie Helnore, Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Dr. E. I. Abendroth, Manhattan. They camped out two days an spent a night at Inspiration Point on Willard Peak; toured Salt Lake City; took a dip in Salt Lake; learned of r Mormon beliefs from Don of the Indian LDS Institute; studied Navajo history, education and families with Dr. George Boyce and Miss Lena Benally.
