For many months their Journal of Calendar Reform has been going over my desk but this was the first time Ive looked inside the cover. And now I wish I hadnt. For example, according to the world calendar, every year would be the same, with each month containing 26 weekdays, plus Sundays, that each quarter has exactly 91 days, 13 weeks or three months and the four quarters are identical in form. A little confusing is what hapens to the day we used to call December 31, the 365th day of the year. It would become Worlds-daa year end world holiday and wouldnt count at all just a Lucky Strike Extra so to speak. The same thing happens In Then the extra day is stuck after June 30 which is on Saturday and July 1 w'hich is on Sunday. But I w'as getting along pretty well with the new calendar until I came to this paragraph following a complicated chart. The This shows, inexplanation, explained: cidentally, that for 20 minutes, from 6:00 A. M. to 6:20 A. M., EST, three different days are simultaneously in existence in some part of the earth. During this period it is tomorrow at Wrangel, yesterday at Niue and Savage, and today in the rest of the world. After that I gave up. Come to think of it, I dont even know where Wrangel, Niue hnd Savage are. And dont care. World.. y, CWC leap-year- s.
