Eliot will be presented December 2, 3, and 4 at 8 p.m. in by the Westminster Players, under the student direction of Doug Mead and supervision of J. W.' Lees, head of the WC Drama Department. The Reunion is a poetic drama constructed in the manner of a Greek tradgedy. The basic conflict concerns a young man searching for escape from a family curse. Love and kisses, Your SGAC Veep WC To Elected Natl CEEB Westminster College has been elected to membership in the College Entrance Examination Board, said Dr. W. F. Arbogast today. The Board consists of 543 pub- lic and independent colleges, universities, high schools and educational associations accross the country. Activities of the CEEB endeavor to provide direction and coordination in facilitating the transition of students from high school to college. R) Family Reunion Unknown Soldier Premieres at WC The world premiere of Don Gil-1- 1s To An Unknown Soldier will be presented by the Westminster Concert Symphony Orchestra, December 6 at 3:00 p.m. in Payne Gymnasium. Under the direction of Kenneth Kuchler, Assistant Concert Master of the Utah Symphony and Head of the Music Department at Westminster College, the orchestra will present its eleventh annual winter concert. SJ the President The program will also include Alexandre Borodines Second Symer phony and Overture to die by Richard Wagner, For those who enjoy both classical and modern arrangements, the Westminster College Stage Band, under the direction of G. The object of the Student Judiciary of Westminster College is to create more student involvement and responsibility within the campus community. The Student Judiciary philosophy is founded on a recognition that college students will accept personal responsiblity for their actions; will accept the verdict of a triad by responsible peers, andor approval through proper channels; and will fulfill the requirements of sentencing, where imposed without excessive od decades, of development for Westminster College will reach a climax with the dedication of the W. T. Nightingale Memorial Library Monday, December 7 at 4 p.m. The new library is named as a tribute to the late William T. Nightingale, who served as a member of the Westminster Board of Trustees and was a Intermountain business and civic leader. The cast is composed of members of the WC acting and play production classes. Craig Wilken-so- n will head the cast as Harry, with Rita Snyder as Amy, ami Marie McCarthy as Agatha. Supporting actors will be Rusty Cortwright, Dave Schmidt, Rand Murray, Linda and Bob Speaker. The Shields, chorus members are Sherryl Cogswell, Linda Kelm, Stan Neeleman and Terry Scott. Staff members include Bill Case, stage manager; Mike White and Bob McCarthy, sound; Dick Atkinson, Stan Clark, Bob Fehr, Eric Gordon, Gordon Snow, Jim Trapp, and Leonard Burningham. Teddy Marrom will be responsible for costumes. Byron Clayton will bp production manager. Eta Pi Uses Novel Theme The Eta Pi Parade of Novels dance will be tomorrow night in the Lounge from 7:30 to 11 p.m. costtimes depicting a title will be in order and the Informal book girl with the most original custume will win a $20 gift certificate to Halmars while the most original fellow will win a blazer from Hibbs. The Protests will start the evening off and cider and sandwiches will be served. |
