Show What Are You Going to Be Doing This Summer? To Work Brenda Lee Jones Forum staff writer put away and some students will be asking themselves, What should I do now? Other students already have big plans. Students such as Stacie Lufkin have made weekend plans for Hawaii, Chicago, Virginia, Seattle and WashingtonD.C. She would also like to spend a few weekends in Japan. Her idea of a perfect summer job would be in Hawaii as a lifeguard, but instead, she will be working at the Salt Lake Airport Authority on a Westminster internship. Freshman Vance Taylor will also be working this summer, but playing at night. His idea of the perfect summer job would be construction work with good pay and sun. Trisha McCormick has a busy summer planned. As a nanny, she will certainly have her hands full. Then again, it could prove to be a very fun way to spend the or to Play? Karen Hendry, administrative assistant to the dean, said that anyone who has not been measured for a cap and gown should contact her as soon as possible. Well fit them as well as we can with the extras ordered from the supplier, Hendry said. There are always people who find out at the last minute that they will be postponing graduation until August. Additionally, procrastinators can still purchase graduation announcements through the deans office while supplies last. At last count, about 300 were left.
