According to one of the students here at Westminster, who wishes to remain nameless, Its not the people in Iran that make the war with Iraq, its the regime of the country (the government). The war between Iran and Iraq has been going on more than five years! When is it going to stop? According to Douglas L. Parker, Tribune Political editor, Nizar Hamdoon, Iraqs Ambassador to the United States, is anxious to come up with some sort of solution to stop Americas interest toward the conflict between the two nations. An Iranian student here at Westminster said he misses home very much and hopes to return. He said, "If I go back theyll take me into the military, and I dont want that. He continued saying, My country is beautiful, I just hope one day I can return. - Neighboring Wolf Draws Fire Arman Dilanchian On the night of March 14 at 12:45 a.m. three gun shots were heard at the east side of Westminster College, according to Mark Burton, a Westminster security guard. He said, I had the graveyard shift. I suddenly heard somebody screaming, and after the screaming I heard three shots. He continued saying, I thought it was a kid screaming." He said, The wolf found the neighbors poodle and started muching out. The owner of the poodle was very angry. He got his gun and shot the wolf. The poodle was dead but the wolf survived three shots. According to Burton, 18 police cars were present at the site of the accident. He said, I dont think the guy who shot the dog got arrested, but I think the owner of the wolf got a citation. According to Dean Gary Fitzer if seniors have missed the January and March days for ordering caps and gowns, contact the Dean of Students Office by April 18 with height, head size, and $5 late fee. After April 18 the late fee (which is imposed will go up to $30 to compensate ) by for the rush order at their busiest time of year. The charge for cap, gown and black tassel is included in your $30 Graduation fee (rental). Caps and gowns should be here by May 12th and will be distributed from the Career Services office in Shaw Center. Announcements (for those who have ordered them) will be in about April 21st.
