The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved, after which was heard the report of the clean-u- p committee; Mrs. J. R. Proudfoot, chairman. Mrs. Proudfoot gave a brief description of the work that had been done and of the activities of the committee. The report was accepted and the committee discharged with a vote of thanks. A committee of two, J. R. Gailey and Mrs. J, R. Proudfoot, were appointed by President Jacobs, upon motion of John G. M. Barnes, to wait upon the city council and urge the early action on three important topics : First, that the city council appoint a committee whose duty it shall be to have the Kaysville cemetery cleaned up in good shape by Decoration day; second, to place before the council the importance of acquiring more culinary water for Kaysville, and third, to urge upon the council the necessity of immediate action in cleaning and improving the north entrance of Kaysville, west and north from the old city Remember Ford Auction Sale at Layton Auto company corner, Friday, May 13, 2 p. m. Also to discuss the improving of the Bamberger property on Main street, and the probability of the erection, of a new and modern building thereon. This matter was turned ever to the committee on manufacturing and industries. The names of the standing committees for the ensuing year were then read by Pres. Jacobs, withthe admonition that these people begin their work t no further notice from the club. The list is printed elsewhere in this paper.
