Show FORMER DIXIEITE DIES AT PANGUITCH, UTAH Panguitch, August 20. Funeral services were held today in the tabernacle taber-nacle at 2 o'clock p. m. for Mrs. Minnie Min-nie Pendleton Church, who died Thursday following an operation for appendicitis. Elder Arthur D. McAllister Mc-Allister of the North Ward bishopric conducted the exercises. Music was furnished by the joint ward choirs under the direction of Glen M. Webb. Choir sang. "Sweet Hour of Prayer." The invocation was offered offer-ed by Elder Samuel A. Worthen. Choir sang "I Know That My Redeemer Re-deemer Lives." The speakers were Bishop James B. Heywood, President W. J. Henderson, Mrs. Hattie Belle Shakespear, president of the Primary association, Bishop Fred G. Gardiner and Hans P. Ipson. Mrs. Pearl Hen-rie Hen-rie rendered a vocal solo entitled "Dry Those Tears." A poem composed com-posed by Mabel Jarvis entitled "Be Comforted' 'was read by Elder Parley Par-ley Ipson. Choir sang "Sweet Rest in Heaven." Benediction by Pat-rairch Pat-rairch Ira W. Hatch. A long line of autos followed the remains to the city cemetery where interment was had in the family burial lot. Before lowering the casket cas-ket into the grave Mrs. Elizabeth D. McAllister, president of the Ward Relief Society made an eulogy of a perfect tribute to the departed. The grave was dedicated by Mayor Rudolph Church. The floral offerings offer-ings were profuse, the grave being a bank of beautiful flowers. Minnie, daughter of Benjamin F. and Alice J. Pendleton, was born, January 29, 1873, at St. George, Utah, and was raised under the1 hardships hard-ships of the Dixie colonization and settlement. She had the advantages advantag-es of a common school education. As a young woman she was made secretary of the Sunday school at that place, which position she held until December 22nd, 1S93, when she married mar-ried Charles H. Church and moved to Panguitch where she has continued continu-ed to reside ever since. She was " ardent church and social worker being be-ing an active member of the Ftehet Society, and for the past tworyarsa counselor in the Presidency of the Ward Primary. She is survived by her liusban11 and the following children.
