The sale will be under the supervision of Mr. Fred Greenfield. Proceed from the sale will help to put on the flower show which will be held August 29. for transportation. LOWEST Richard P. Lindsay, Taylorsville insurance man and realty agent, Wednesday was sworn in for a six-yeterm as a member of the Utah State Finance Commission. Mr. Lindsay, a Democrat, is a new appointee to the three-ma- n commission. Other members are D. K. Moffat, chairman, and D. H. Whittenburg. The new commissioner has been associated with the Farmers Insurance Group since 1955 and is also president of Lindsay Brothers Development Company, a partnership engaged in residential and commercial development of the Taylorsville area. He served as president of the Taylorsville Lions Club for 1957-5- 8 and is a veteran of World War II. He is active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day- . Saints, and has served a mission in Switzerland. CLOVERLEAF ROLLS 2 teaspoons salt 2 packages yeast, compressed . or dry 14 cup shortening Wa cup water (lukewarm for 2 eggs v. compressed yeast, warm 5 cups sifted enriched flour for dry) . (about) 1 eup milk butter or margarine Melted cup sugar Soften yeast In water. Scald milk Add sugar, salt and short- ening. Cool to lukewarm. Add flour to make a thick batter. Mix well. Add softened yeast and eggs. Beat well. Add enough more flour to make a soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured board or pastry cloth and knead until smooth and satiny. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise in warm place until doubled (about VA hours). When light, punch down. Cover and let rest 10 minutes. Divide dough into small pieces and form into smooth balls. Dip each ball into melted butter or margarine and place 3 balls in each section of greased muffin pans. Let rise until doubled (about 45 minutes). Bake in moderate oven (350F.) 15 to 20 minutes.
