In Sunday Church Program Mothers Day was a big day at Sunday School with the chap- : el overflowing with mothers and children. The program was given by the members of the Sunday School classes. Mrs. Charles Partridge represented the mothers of the ward and made a very lovely picture as she sat beside a huge basket of purple lilacs and large pink roses. She wore a purple dress which was set off by the pale pink walls of the church. The Junior Sunday School met in the large room and gave two songs. Mrs. Grace Hales class gave a class room demonstration and each said a thoughtful deed to help mofher and added a rose to the large bouquet. The Sunday School did not give the mothers flowers, but will use money to start a ward library for which there is much heed,. There were some very beautiful tributes g'iven to the great-grea- t - grandmothers by Mrs. Fern Mitchell. She read a list of the mothers in the ward. Howard Moffitt gave the words of love to all mothers and Lloyd of Beckstead sang "Mother Mine as his part to the moth--v ers. My Prayer By Madalaine Horrocks Our Father, God, who reigns on high, Watch and guard me with Thine eye; That where I walk along lifes way, Thou wilt be with me day by day. Oh, grant me of Thy love devine And let me giveth to Thee mine. That when I ask a gift of Thee, I know Thou deem it best for me. Let me not ask for wealth or gold, For treasures that by men are sold; But rather let my mind unfold. To gather gems within to hold. Help me to live by faith and deed; Help me to sow Thy precious seed. Prant me a cup of joy to reap, I pray this treasure I may keep. Through Jesus Christ and in His name, I pray this gift I may regain: That through His mercy, grace and love, I shall return unto Thee, God Amen.
