Mr. and Mrs. Max Allred recently enjoyed a trip to Yellowstone Park, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Tom Allred, of Vernal. C. D. Brotherson and Beit Brotherson made a trip to Salt Lake Friday evening. Mrs. Thelma Nye A successful celebration was staged July 4 by the Tabiona ward. A sunrise salute and flag raising ceremony began the day, with an outstanding parade at 10 a. m. This was folowed by a program and childrens dance, childrens races and a novelty soft-bagame, with all players in outlandish costumes. (The playing was that way, too.) The afternoon was topped off with a small but excellent rodeo with riders from Fruitland, Tabiona, Hanna, and Heber furnishing the thrills. A dance in the high school gymnasium completed the festivities. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers monument committee entertained Friday evening at a chicken supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Nye. All men and their partners who helped with the monument were invited to attend. Twenty-seve- n were at present supper, although more were expected. The balance of the evening was devoted to playing canasta, 500, high fice and cootie. Hostesses were Mrs. Hazel Clark, Mrs. Minnie Hamilton, Mrs. Theo Gines, Mrs. Jessie Maxwell, and Mrs. Thelma Nye. Miss Nadene Ottosen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ottosen, and Miss Marjorie Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Lewis, attended the special Club meetings held during the week at Logan.
