We have received compliments en- and ough on, the neat .appearance brigat, breezy news in our last number to entitle us to wear a number eight hat, but xve still cling to our 7 Stetson. We know, that last week's paper was the best ever produced in the Times office far many years, but xve are not boasting of the effort. We did the best xve could with an. office in a chaotic stale. New 6 le, which lias been in tue cases for years, and evidently not understood by former ''typographical artists oi the .Times, is being fished out and brought into sen ice. Leery day our artistic printer is finding some nexy bonanza, in the type line, and is dishing it up in our display ads and in the job work that is besieging us. There is now no excuse for the merchants of the county to s?nd their printing into Salt Lake, if they have an honest desire to patronize home indus-uy- . We are here to advocate and boost for home industry and we expect the merchants to practice what they preach and keep their printing orders at home. The Times office can give you as good work as can lie obtained in Salt Lake at reasonable rates and it is the duty of the merchants to be loyal to .their, home printer, who has the talent and material to do t.ie best work obtainable. We are not in competition . with SLOP SHOP WORK that can be had at half our prices. .If you want that kind of work, it cannot be obtained in The .Times office. Our efforts are being appreciated in Tooele and every day orders are coming in for tha. good printing that can only be primed in T.he Times office. We are out hustling for work and will be glad to have you call us u c i the 'phone to come . to your iti.e end give estimates on any job limbi caul to a poster. two-she- lime-carboli- c t I oi-i-a- .
