Show FUNERAL HELD TUESDAY FOR MRS. HATTIE ALLAN Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the First ward chapel Tuesday Tues-day afternoon for Mrs. Hattie Rene Wignall Allan, 63, widow of C. Frank Allan, who died at the family residence Saturday evening, eve-ning, of a heart ailment. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by the C. O. Claudin funeral home. Mrs. Allan was born in Springville, Spring-ville, July 9, 1880, a daughter of James and Harriet Burt Wignall. She had lived here most of her life, taking active part in church work, especially in Relief Society, in which she had been a teacher for about twenty-five years. She was a charter member of Camp Kolob D. U. P. She was married in Springville, June 18, 1902 and she and her husband later received their endowments en-dowments in the Salt Lake temple. tem-ple. Mr. Allan died November 19, 1927. Surviving are six sons and daughters, Wilbur P., Kenneth W., C. Howard, and Lee M. Allan of Springville; Mrs. Ruth Johnson of Richfield; Mrs. Naomi Reynolds, Santa Monica, Calif.; also twenty grandchildren, and five brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ruel Averett, Mrs. Maggie Daley of Springville-Mrs. Springville-Mrs. Theo Hatch and Charles Kignall of Provo; E. J. Wignall of Salt Lake City. |
