Show B!a!ie Bird to be given farewell Sunday Blake Bird, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lewis Bird, has been called to serve an LDS mission mis-sion in the Eastern States. His farewell is Sunday evening at 4:30 p.m., in the Fifth ward. He entered the Mission Home Monday June 4. Speakers at the farewell will be President Leo Crandall of Springville stake and Bishop Leonard James of the Fifth ward. Remarks will be given by parents of the missionary and a response by the missionary. Music will be by Louis Thorn who will give a vocal solo, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Maurice Bird. Brenda Bird will give a scriptural reading and Mary Bird, a piano solo. Other music will be by ; the congregation with Marion Raulston giving prelude and postlude numbers. The invocation will be by Ted Murray and the benediction by Jim Sheffield. Others serving from the Fifth ward, are: J .Douglas Bird, West Central States; Ray Sanford and David Strong, So. Australian; Lee Bigelow, Canadian; Can-adian; Harry James, West Indian; In-dian; Larry Sanford, President and Mrs. Grant S. Thorn and family, and Gordon L. Robbins all North British Mission. B.
