At their annual Shakespeare Open House. Fifth and sixth graders will present an abridged version of "MacBeth" on Friday, Feb. 23, 2007 at 7 p.m. The school is located at 185 East 400 North, Spanish Fork. Refreshments and an open house will follow at 8 p.m. HEART SMART: The Student Body Council held their annual American Heart Association Fund Drive over the past week. They earned $521 to be contributed to that organization. Students had the opportunity to send valentines to friends around the school for making a contribution. For a little bigger contribution, a special singing valentine could be sent to a favorite teacher in the school. Many students took advantage of this and as a result a number of teachers were serenaded by the Show Choir with the warm tones of "Embraceable You". Thanks go out Mrs. Hartman and the Student Body Council as well as Mrs. Hopkins and the members of the Show Choir. We also thank all of the students who gave to this worthy cause. We have found that the students this year are generous when it comes to these kinds of projects.
