Miss Jerilyn Pugh, who has been visiting relatives and friends at Spanish Fork the past two weeks, returned home Friday. Mrs. LeOna Swallow of Kanab, and Flora Bardwell from up State, were here Thursday cooking school for giving a Leaders. Many others all attended also for this timely instruction period. President Cecil Fisher and Juniece Hoyt of Orderville Ward and Stake Officers in the Relief Society, visited our ward 4-- H 4-- Monday. Mr. Max Bauer of Salt Lake City, visited relatives and friends here the past week. He is a former resident of Glendale. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Maxwell and family and Delwyn Maxwell, all from Ganado, Ariz., visited here the past weekend. Visiting here the past week were: Mrs. Idona Deuel and daughter Elaine of Hatch, Mrs. Eva A. Dallin, Rita Largo, Mr. and Mrs. Kyron Sorenson and son, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Bunting and family, all of Page, Mr. n Kanab news notes Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Fredonia Music Dept, presents concert A book drop has been install- Fredonia High School chorus and band presented a Festival Concert, April 16 at which the chorus presented six numbers and the concert band performed 12 numbers under the direction of LeRoy C. Heaton. Seventy young persons in the festival and two contest numbers, which will be used at the Northern Arizona Music Festival in Flagstaff, were presented. LeRoy Wright gets diploma from mortuary school LeRoy Wright former Kanab resident, and son of Mr. and Mrs. William Wright, graduated from the California College of Mortuary Science March 26, 1969, where he has been studying for the past twelve months. He graduated with an Associate in Arts degree. Mr. Wright is a 1963 graduate of Kanab High School and spent one year in training at Southern Utah Mortuary in Cedar City. Don Mackelprang, Donny Van Driel, Paul McCormick, Robert Little, and Neil Gearhart of the North Kaibab Forest attended a meeting in Williams last week and received instruction in forest policy, fire control, and work plans for the coming summer.
