Show FUNERAL DIRECTORS FORM ASSOCIATION PROVO, July 6. At the meeting of the funeral directors of the State. which opened here Wednesday afternoon after-noon and closed last night, an organization or-ganization to be known as the Utah Funeral Directors' association was formed. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, E. W. Hall. Salt Lake; first vice-president. O. H. Berg. Provo; second vice-president, G. W. Llnd-quist. Llnd-quist. Logan; secretary, E. L. Jones, Provo; assistant secretary, Wyman Berg, Provo; treasurer, J. P. Soren- sen, Manti. Executive committee C. J. Llnd-quist, Llnd-quist, Ogden: J. F. Richardson, Park City; Grace, Nephl. Committee on membership J. C. Graham. Provo; Walter Wheeler, Springville; A. F. Richey, Ogden. The following committee on constitution consti-tution and by-laws, to report at next regular meeting of the association In Salt Lake City. October 8, was appointed: ap-pointed: E. Larkins, Ogden; J. S. Horne. Richfield; S. L. Anderson, American Fork: H. Pickett. St. George; Bert Hansen, Mount Pleasant. Pleas-ant. Interesting meetings were held In the parlors of Graham & Jones, and lectures on embalming and kindred subjects were delivered by Prof. A. F. Sullivan of Denver. Th convention conven-tion opened with an address of welcome, wel-come, by Mayor Frlsby, and the visitors vis-itors Miave combined business with pleasure by visiting the lake resort, taking lit the races, also. |
